Talk to Us

Some websites need to bring in new inquiries. Some need to answer common questions. Some need to organize information, support donations, explain services, or make important content easier to find.

Roe Digital builds clean, fast, easy-to-read websites with practical guidance throughout the process, so the finished site is clearer, easier to use, and better aligned with your goals.

A Good Website Starts With Understanding the Goal

Before we start designing or building, we need to understand what the website is supposed to do.

That goal may be simple, such as making your business look more professional and easier to understand. It may be more specific, such as improving search visibility, helping people compare services, reducing repetitive phone calls, or organizing a large amount of information.

Once we understand the goal, we can make better decisions about the structure, content, design, and features the site actually needs.

We do not believe every website should look or work the same way. A local service business, organization, and industrial company may all need very different websites.

What Website Design and Redesign Includes

Every website project is different, but most include a combination of planning, content organization, design, development, testing, and launch support.

Website Planning

We start by learning about your business or organization, your audience, what is working now, what is not working, and what the new website needs to accomplish. This helps us decide what pages are needed, what content should be included, and how visitors should move through the site.

Content Organization

A website is much easier to use when the content is organized clearly. We help structure the pages, navigation, headings, calls to action, and key information so visitors can find what they need without getting frustrated.

Website Copy

Some clients come to us with copy ready to go. Others ask us to write it for them. Most often we work from information the client provides and expand on it from there. Either way, we make sure the message is clear, answers the right questions, and makes the next step easy to understand.

Clean, Professional Design

Your website should look professional and feel appropriate for your business. We focus on clean layouts, readable type, clear spacing, and pages that are easy to scan so visitors can find what they need and take the next step.

Mobile-Friendly Development

Most people will visit your website on a phone at some point. We build websites to work well across screen sizes, with mobile usability in mind from the beginning.

Fast, Accessible Pages

Speed and accessibility both matter. We build with clean structure, readable text, strong contrast, proper headings, and other accessibility basics that make the site easier for more people to use.

Search-Friendly Structure

We pay attention to page titles, headings, URLs, internal links, and the way content is organized so the site has a stronger foundation for search visibility.

Forms and Calls to Action

The next step should be clear. Depending on the site, that may mean calling, filling out a form, requesting information, donating, downloading a resource, or contacting the right person.

Platform and Technology

We build many websites in WordPress because it is flexible, widely supported, and gives clients the ability to manage their own content after launch. We also use other platforms when they are a better fit.

Testing and Launch

Before launch, we review the site for broken links, mobile problems, missing details, form issues, and basic performance concerns. We also help with redirects, domain settings, and post-launch checks.

When It May Be Time for a New Website

A redesign may make sense if:

  • Your website looks outdated or no longer reflects your business
  • Visitors have a hard time understanding what you offer
  • Important information is hard to find
  • Your site does not work well on mobile
  • The site is slow, cluttered, or difficult to update
  • You are getting the wrong kinds of inquiries
  • Your services, audience, or goals have changed
  • Your current site does not support your marketing efforts
  • Accessibility, search visibility, or technical issues are holding the site back

Sometimes a full redesign is the right move. Other times the better first step is improving the message, updating key pages, fixing technical issues, or cleaning up the structure of the site you already have. We will help you think through which approach makes sense before recommending a full rebuild.

Wondering What Your Website Needs to Accomplish?

Website projects start at $3,000. We will help you figure out what your project actually needs before we talk about anything else.

What to Expect

A website project works best when there is a clear plan and steady communication.

We will ask questions, review your current site if you have one, talk through your goals, and help organize what needs to be included. From there we build the site around the structure, content, and design direction that makes sense for your audience.

You do not have to know every page or every detail before we start. Part of our job is to guide you through the process and help make the site clearer as we go.

We will also be direct if something does not need to be included, if a feature may not be worth the cost, or if a simpler approach would serve your audience better.

When a Website Alone May Not Be Enough

A better website can make a big difference, but it will not automatically solve every marketing problem.

If people are not finding you online, you may also need search optimization or Google Ads. If your audience needs repeated exposure before they act, social media ads may help. If your message is unclear, the website may need stronger content before design can do its job.

That is why we look at the website as part of the bigger picture. The goal is not just to launch a new site. The goal is to build something that supports what your business or organization needs next.

Common Questions

How much does a website cost?

Website projects start at $3,000. The final cost depends on the number of pages, the design work involved, and what the site needs to accomplish. Larger or more complex projects are quoted based on scope. Every project includes 90 days of our website care plan after launch. If you would like a ballpark figure, our Project Estimator can give you an estimated range, or you can Contact Us and we will walk through it with you.

What platform will you build my website on?

It depends on the project. We build on WordPress, Astro, and other platforms, and we recommend the one that fits your goals and how you plan to manage the site.

We look at how often the site will need updates, who will manage it, and how important speed and security are, then choose the approach that fits rather than forcing every project into the same system.

How long does a website project take?

Smaller websites can often be completed in two to three weeks. Larger or more complex projects may take three to four months.

The biggest variable is usually how quickly you can review pages and content when we send them, so a project moves faster when feedback comes back promptly.

Will I own my website when it is finished?

Yes. Your website belongs to you, and you can take it with you if you ever move to a different developer or manage it yourself.

If your site uses premium third-party tools or plugins, those may require their own licenses once you leave our care, and we will point those out before the project begins.

Can I update the website myself after launch?

In many cases, yes. Some sites are built so you can easily update text, photos, blog posts, or team members, while others are better maintained by our team so the design and performance stay consistent.

We will recommend the right setup for how you plan to manage the site and talk it through before we start.

What happens to my current site and search rankings during a redesign?

We build your new site on a staging server so your current website stays live and unaffected during the build.

When the new site is ready, we carry your important pages over and set up redirects so existing links keep working and visitors who find old pages land in the right place. This protects the search visibility you have already earned.

Do I have to write the content myself?

No. We can write the content for you, develop it together, or work from notes you provide.

Good website content should sound like your business and answer the questions your buyers actually have, and we make sure it is clear, accurate, and useful.
